Joan's Foundation Preceptor App app for iPhone and iPad

A novel collaboration of mobile technology and cancer experts hopes to make it easier for dental hygienists to pre-screen their patients for oral cancer. The Joans Foundation Preceptor App allows hygienists, dental assistants, dentists (as well as other medical professionals) to easily capture and submit a photo of potential oral cancers. Those anonymous photos are then reviewed by a team of oncologists at the OSUCCC James Cancer Center for potential threats and flagged appropriately for additional follow up as necessary.
